What: Flower Array - set of imagery that examines the beauty of flowers. Flowers are commonly portrayed in a very classic way, presenting somewhat one dimensional vision of the subject. Flower Array is a play that invites the viewer to find beauty in flowers through an individual approach. The arrangements represent new wave of floral art that combines flowers in more eccentric way: combination of flowers and herbs or cut flowers and wild hay for example.

The photography bases on an alternative approach for shooting the subject matter. Shadows, instead of light, are used for drafting out the form for example. The images are shot on large format camera, allowing the most dedicate details to be captured. All photos are organic analogue shots with no after effects.

Why: Flowers are a global language, and can be spoken everywhere. There is no grammar or guidelines how one should interpret flowers or pictures of flowers. We would like to invite everyone to bring a positive pause for their day, and their friends day, by enjoying the alternative way of looking at things.
